Nathan is committed to promoting responsible food and farming and has been a long-term advocate of sustainable agriculture. As a cross-pollinator Nathan has linked communities, farmers and businesses together to create meaningful change, benefiting our ecosystems and food systems. Nathan played a key role in labeling genetically modified organisms in the State of Vermont and was a leader in the Oregon Right to Know campaign.
Nathan practices what he promotes through weekly GE education, organic GE free seed farming, and working with producers to encourage responsible food and farming best management practices. Nathan also enjoys creating beneficial community events, concocting potions, and frolicking in fields of native wildflowers.
